IT IS NOW OFFICIAL‼️ Plymouth Argyle Community Trust will be completing the TAKEOVER of Tavistock Football Development Centre from September onwards. We are proud to announce this huge news and have been working closely with Argyle this past year to make this happen. A full STATEMENT will be released by us tomorrow explaining the details of this TAKEOVER and what opportunities this will bring to the area and first and foremost our young players.
This is a proud moment for everyone involved at TFDC.
Over the past two years, we've worked tirelessly to put Tavistock and the surrounding area firmly on the football map. The dedication, investment and commitment shown by our staff, supportive parents and directors has helped create a genuine player development pathway that has now attracted attention from higher levels of the game.
That hard work has resulted in Plymouth Argyle taking an interest in the area. We're incredibly proud to have played a significant role in raising the profile of football in Tavistock and creating opportunities that simply weren't here before.
This is another milestone reached for football in the area, and Argyle can't wait to get started 💚⚽❤️
