Amazing morning. There seem to be lots and lots of tadpoles , ravens and little baby lambs. Is there a link?

The tame pheasants are coming right up to the house now we are in the breeding season. This one is call Fatty for obvious reasons!

East Quither Farm is a small Retreat House is run for Christians by Christians

The hamlet of Quither is situated in a high valley close to Dartmoor National Park and near to Tavistock. Our home, East Quither Farm, is a beautiful ancient Devon Longhouse surrounded by green hill fields and private woods. The house was once used as a monastic retreat for Tavistock Abbey before its dissolution in the 16th Century. The huge ancient front door key is still in use! It is a quiet house and our guests often comment on the deep relaxation they experience as they rest ‘far from the madding crowd’. The gardens are full bird and wildlife. We have a terrace where you can eat or talk - or just enjoy the view. There are lots of seats around the garden for rest and reflection. You can even take one off into the wood where you might be joined by one of our tame/wild pheasants.

As practising Christians, we recognise it is sometimes it is lovely to just be amongst fellow Christians; you can talk about things you are doing, books you are reading or problems you might be working through
