Welcome to the Spring & Summer Wellness with Wendy newsletter.
Longer days, brighter mornings, and more opportunities to move, smile, and feel good. Our classes are here to help you stay strong, steady, and confident — and to enjoy a few giggles along the way.
It’s a joy to see everyone progressing and supporting one another each week. Thank you for your commitment to the class.
🌿 Class Information
All Classes are £6 and start at 10am
Monday - Bridestowe Village Hall
Wednesday - Mary Tavy Coronation Hall
Friday - Brentor Village Hall
🌿 Class Breaks & Holidays
Classes will not run:
• 27 March to 6 April
• 12 July to 19 July
• All Bank Holidays
Classes resume as normal afterwards.

🌿 Stretching & Laughter — What the Research Shows
✅ Stretching Benefits
Stretching:
✔ improves flexibility and range of motion
✔ helps muscles relax
✔ reduces stiffness
✔ supports balance and posture
Gentle, regular stretching has been shown to support comfortable everyday movement — especially as we age.

😂 Laughter Benefits
Laughter isn’t just fun — research shows it can:
✔ activate the diaphragm and stimulate circulation
✔ release endorphins (natural feel-good chemicals)
✔ reduce stress hormones
✔ help relax muscle tension
✔ improve mood
Some studies even show that laughter can stimulate the body in ways similar to light physical activity.

Gentle movement coupled with enjoyment (like laughter) can make movement feel easier and more rewarding — and that’s a big part of your class atmosphere.

As well as group classes, I offer individual support and wellbeing sessions tailored to your needs, including one-to-one guidance, rehabilitation, posture and movement work, and wellness music.
