The Lambs came away with the Europa League runners up trophy after a great run at the Lakeside Athletic Ladies tournament. This followed a slow start before hitting some form in the knock out phase. The Lambs fully rotated the squad throughout. Louise McLeod hit a couple of hat tricks, with further goal contributions from Meg Williams, Maia Wearne, Celia Davis and Amy Willcocks. Kim Benny excelled in goal too with fantastic support from Kayla Spring, Rose Orme, Michele Hawken-Jones and Isabel Williams. Congratulations to Hunter District FC . Thanks again to the supporters. Thanks to Matt and his team at Lakeside Athletic. A great finish to the season. Final Score: Hunter District 2, Tavistock AFC 1.

The Ewe Lambs completed their campaign for the season with a solid display at high flying neighbours Horrabridge Rangers Women. It was a sweltering day in the sunshine with the game being split into quarters to allow fluids to be taken onboard. The Lambs started the match strongly and took the lead on 15 minutes. Louise McLeod broke through on the counter attack and her shot was only parried before Maia Wearne capitalised by cooly slotting the ball into the back of the net to send the large visiting support into raptures. Horrabridge then fought back in the 2nd quarter to go into half-time leading 2:1. Horrabridge added a 3rd early in the 3rd quarter before adding 2 more either side of the break. Final score 5:1. The Lambs continue to grow and improve following an earlier heavy defeat. As the season concludes we wish to congratulate our hosts on a fine season and wish to thank the Management Team, Players and Supporters for another great season. See you all again soon!

Congratulations to last night's winners at the Tavistock Football Club presentation evening. Thanks also to the Volunteers that made last night happen. Thanks to those that attended and supported all 3 teams. Marvellous!

The Ewe Lambs go to our West Devon neighbours, Horrabridge Rangers Women, for their last game of the season tomorrow, Sunday 2pm KO. Weather is looking good and so there should be a decent Bank Holiday crowd. The Lambs will be looking to build on recent solid performances against strong opposition. Please come along if you can and support your Team. Thanks.
