I am super excited to welcome Carmen to Activate Fitness!

Carmen will be available on site as a physiotherapist from the start of May. Working out of the larger treatment room on the top floor. Initially Carmen will be available Saturday mornings, and will be extending this in due course.

Carmen has a huge amount of experience, working across NHS Musculoskeletal services, private practice, and sport. She holds a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy and an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine.

From a business perspective thank you both for supporting our gym for the last 3 and a half years as we steadily grew and went 24/7. You’ve both been a huge asset to the gym community, being friendly familiar faces to have around and always going way beyond just renting a room from us!!

And from a personal note you’ve both racked up to be such wonderful close friends - you’re stuck with me for life!! I will miss you both a lot but I’m so excited for you both for this new chapter in your businesses.

Having said that… this now opens up the opportunity for two people/businesses as we now have our town centre therapy rooms available for full time hire from 1st May. If you are interested, please dm me asap for a viewing as I already have interest!

Can’t quite get my head around me almost being the owner for 10 years of my life next month!! So thought it would be a good opportunity to get people together to mark the occasion.

Saturday 18th April marks 10 years to the day that I collected the keys for the premises after it being closed for a long period of time and began a never ending project that I love.

Taunton Half 2026

What an incredible event yesterday was! The town was absolutely buzzing with runners, spectators, and busy businesses!

Such a thrill to be a part of the revived . Even more so to do it alongside our wonderful members and wider community.

Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to everyone who came out to watch and support and chased us along the route ( )!!

I am very delicate and slow this week so if you see me hobbling around the gym at least you know why 😂

The week has arrived!! Buzzing for this and even more excited to run this with some of our members 😁 if you’d like to head over to the start line together, we’ll be meeting at the gym at 9:15 in the morning so we can walk up together 😎

🎄 Staffed Hours Christmas & New Year 2025 🎄

Normal hours up to and including Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24th December.

Normal classes and staffed hours resume from Monday 5th January.

Social media and emails will be monitored during unstaffed times, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch: [email protected].

The gym remains fully 24/7 accessible and temporary passes as well as memberships can be purchased via our website.
