Last Night the club welcomed members from 1st Watchet Sea Scout Group RN 63 . it’s been a couple of years since the scouts have shot at our range and after a safety briefing each scout with 1 to 1 instruction enjoyed shooting 25yrds on our new 50m range.

The End of an Era!
Yesterday evening saw the last shots fired on our original 25yd range. As from next Monday, 6th September, we will be using our new combined 50m and 25yd range - prone rimfire to start with but new disciplines such as bench rest, 3P and air rifle to follow. We look forward to shooting through this winter from our new building without icy condensation from the roof dripping down our necks!!

After Lockdown 3 we’re open again😊 Same rules as before - strictly by pre-booked sessions etc. For those shooting competition cards the shoot-by dates are now irrelevant - just shoot your cards in the correct order and when you’re able to. They must all be shot by August when the scores will be collated and results issued. There will not be any interim results published and no summer league. We’ll be submitting paperwork for certification of the new range very soon so it should be available for use in a month or two.
