Our 2nd XI head over to Cannington to play Wembdon 5th XI, also in a 13:30 start.

Hull exit the Minor Cup following an 8 wicket defeat to North Curry.

Losing the toss we batted first, posting a total of 144 thanks to a good innings from Jacob Tyson hitting 56 off of 48 balls.

Struggling to get going in our bowling innings North Curry chased the total down in the 17th over seeing us crash out of the competition.

A day of both emotion and enjoyment yesterday at the Barnaby Webber Memorial Day. 💙🏏

Three years on, it was once again incredible to see so many people come together to remember Barney, celebrate his life and enjoy a fantastic day of cricket.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, whether you were playing, supporting from the boundary, catching up with friends or simply helping to make the day so special.

We’d also like to extend our thanks to all of the volunteers who gave up their time behind the scenes. From setting up and clearing away, to running the bar, manning the BBQ and helping the day run smoothly, yesterday simply wouldn’t have been possible without your support.

Also a big thank you goes to Gareth of the Gareth Grant YouTube channel and the rest of his team for coming along and participating. This was Gareth’s 4th visit to BHCC and we look forward to welcoming him again in the future!

Barney will forever be in our thoughts and forever part of our club at BHCC 💙

Today marks three years since the tragic loss of our friend and teammate, Barnaby Webber.

Barney was a very valued member of Bishops Hull CC, and he is still missed by all of us who had the privilege of playing alongside him.

Flowers will be laid at the club today to remember him, and on Sunday we will come together once again for our annual Memorial Day of cricket for Barney. A special opportunity to remember a much loved friend and teammate - everyone is welcome and we’d encourage you to come along and join us💙

Tomorrow marks three years since Barney was tragically taken from us. He remains a much loved friend, teammate and part of the Bishops Hull Cricket Club family.

Anyone wishing to pay their respects is welcome to visit the club throughout the rest of today and tomorrow and lay flowers in his memory💙🏏

We have no home game tomorrow so feel free to head up any time 💐
