Today our F.C. Rhinos Taunton U12s played a fantastic friendly match against Bridgwater Wolves! ⚽️🔥
There was plenty of action, lots of goals, great football and fantastic energy from both teams! 👏⚽️
The boys showed great commitment, teamwork and a real desire to play. Most importantly, everyone enjoyed the game and created a brilliant atmosphere both on and off the pitch. ❤️
👏 A huge thank you to all the players for their effort, passion and fantastic attitude.
👏 A big thank you also to the Bridgwater Wolves players and coaches for a great game and for helping to create such a positive and enjoyable footballing experience.

Does your child love football and want to develop their skills in a friendly, supportive, and ambitious environment? F.C. Rhinos Taunton is looking for new players to join our youth teams across multiple age groups! 💪

🌟 Why join us?

Great atmosphere – we learn through play, teamwork, and a positive approach.

Experienced coaches – guiding every player to develop at their own pace.

Regular training & matches – building teamwork and fair play competition.

🔥 FIRST SESSION FREE! – come and try it out with no commitment.

🎯 Who are we looking for?
Boys and girls who love football, want to train, play matches, and have fun! We are currently recruiting for:

U6 (Born 2020–2021) – Training: Mondays

U8 & U9 (Born 2017–2020) – Training: Tuesdays

U14 (Born 2012–2013) – Training: Wednesdays & Thursdays

📅 Training Schedule & Kick-off:

Training starts: From August 24, 2026! 🚀

Location (Outdoor Season): Victoria Park. (Winter training will move to Taunton Vale Sports Club and Bishop Fox's School, Bishop Fox Dr, Taunton TA1 3HQ).

🎒 What to bring:

Own football gear (boots/trainers) and shinpads

A bottle of water

Dear Parents,

As the season comes to an end, we would like to thank all of our players and families for your fantastic support, commitment, and enthusiasm throughout the year. We wish you all a wonderful, relaxing, and enjoyable summer holiday! ☀️⚽

The last official training session before the summer break will take place on Thursday, 23rd July 2026.

We will return to our regular training schedule on Monday, 24th August 2026.

Summer Training Sessions (Optional)

For players who would like to stay active during the summer, we will be running optional training sessions at Victoria Park:

⚽ Tuesdays – 6:00 PM

U8
U9

⚽ Thursdays – 6:00 PM

U12
U14

These sessions are also open to friends who would like to come along and try football with F.C Rhinos.

💷 Cost: £5 per player, per session.
Payment should be made in cash to the coach before each training session.

📲 In the event of bad weather or any changes, updates will be posted on Teamer.

A huge thank you to the entire U13 Rhinos team for an amazing 2025/26 season. It has been a year full of hard work, dedication, passion, and unforgettable memories. We are incredibly proud of every single player – you showed great character, determination, and true team spirit throughout the season. Well done everyone – fantastic job! 👏
A special thank you goes to everyone who attended the end-of-season awards gala. Thank you to all the players, parents, coaches, and supporters who have been with us every step of the way. Your presence made the evening even more special.

The charity match for Anita and her family is officially in the history books! This afternoon at Victoria Park in Taunton is one we will remember for a very long time. We gave absolutely everything on the pitch, but the most important victory was won together off the field! 🌟

It was a spectacular battle, an electrifying atmosphere, and pure football passion! But beyond the sporting rivalry, something much more beautiful took center stage. ☀️ IMPORTANT NOTICE – TRAINING CANCELLED ☀️
Due to the high temperatures forecast for this week, all F.C. Rhinos training sessions have been cancelled.
The health and wellbeing of our players is always our top priority, and after carefully considering the weather conditions, we feel it is safest for the children to avoid training in extreme heat.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Please keep an eye on our social media channels for further updates.

Just a reminder that our Charity Match will take place on Saturday, 27th June 2026.
🕤 Players to arrive: 9:30am
🕥 Kick-off: 10:30am
The match will be played over 3 x 30-minute periods to ensure that every player gets plenty of game time and the opportunity to showcase their skills.
