Just a reminder that there will be no Somerset Wyverns Youth training tomorrow as we'll be attending Somerset County Cricket Club's Family Day! 🏏🎉

If you're heading along, make sure you come and find us! Our coaches and players will be there all day to chat about the club, answer any questions, and introduce you to the exciting world of American Football.

We're recruiting new players aged 13–18, so if you've ever wanted to give the sport a try, this is the perfect opportunity to say hello. No experience is needed – just bring your enthusiasm!

🏈 Coaches Wanted – Help Shape the Future of Somerset Football!

The Somerset Wyverns Youth Programme is looking for passionate coaches to join us as we continue to grow American football across Somerset.

Whether you’ve coached before or you’re completely new to the sport, there’s a place for you in our programme. We’re recruiting for:

🔸 U16 Contact
🔸 U19 Contact

You don’t need previous American football experience—we’re looking for people with transferable skills from teaching, playing, coaching other sports, or simply a desire to help young athletes develop both on and off the field.

Our coaching development pathway will support you every step of the way, giving you the tools and guidance to succeed.

🚨 NO YOUTH TRAINING THIS SUNDAY 🚨

This Sunday, our Somerset Wyverns Youth programme won't be training as we'll be attending Somerset County Cricket Club's Family Day! 🏏💛

If you're looking for something fun to do with the family during the summer holidays, make sure you head down to the Metro Bank One Day Cup fixture as Somerset take on Warwickshire.

There'll be:
🎈 30+ FREE children's activities
🏏 Live cricket
🍦 Fantastic food stalls
🎉 Games, giveaways and loads more!

We'd love to see our Wyverns families there enjoying a great day out together.

While the Somerset Wyverns senior team travel down to Cornwall to take on the Cornwall Monarchs in their final game of the season, our youth programme will still be hard at work back home.

Join us this Sunday, 19th July, from 10:00am–12:00pm at Victoria Park, Taunton, as our young athletes continue to develop their skills, build on everything they've learned this season, and prepare for what lies ahead.

Whether you're completely new to American football or already part of the squad, we'd love to see you there. Our coaching staff will be on hand to help players aged 13–18 learn the game in a fun and supportive environment.
