My Fly fishing for beginners course covers all the basics from tackle explanation and selection, basic casting, fly selection, how to find the trout, how to play and land the fish. Available at multiple stillwaters across Somerset, Devon and Dorset. I also offer fly fishing corporate days for your clients or to reward a member of staff. This can be for either complete beginners where they will re

ceive tuition or experienced fly fisherman, where I act as a fishing guide / ghillie. I also provide a quality picnic if required. You can also buy fly fishing gift vouchers which are great for birthdays or Christmas. Fly fishing lessons, tuition, courses and instruction.

Amazing day with my two guests, brother Tom and Rob. 3 fish between them a 5lb rainbow, a 10lb and a 12lb absolutely amazing. The casting was spot on as was playing the fish. We went to Exe Valley Fly Fishing which is my go to fly fishing fishery in Somerset. These are the highest quality trout in the UK produced on site as well. Today I had the absolute privilege and pleasure to take one of my culinary hero's fishing. Mitch Tonks. Mitch owns and runs the seahorse restaurant in Dartmouth as well as the phenomal Rockfish restaurant chains and online seafood and fish fishmongers. A truly lovely guy. Today I taught him how to double haul which is an advanced casting technique and not easy to learn. He got to grips with it very fast and with more practice will surely master it. Well done Mitch.
