Good Luck to these two lovely ladies who are off to Canada 🇨🇦 to represent England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 for the England Women’s Kicking Cancer Team..
They fly out to Toronto Saturday with the squad to play football in the week and hopefully get some sight seeing in too…
They are playing international games against Canada and some friendlies against Toronto Walking Soccer Club..

Busy Day For Tads today… firstly our Women’s Walking Recreational Team set off on their travels to Dawlish to play some Friendly Games and to Eat Cake..thank you Dawlish Women Walking Football for the invite the team loved it 💚⚽️💚
Secondly our Coach Lalla set off for an 11 a side friendly to play for Watchet.. what a Legend…💚⚽️💚
Thirdly our Beth and Jane had a training with her Hearing Impaired & Deaf Walking Football well done Both💚⚽️💚
And Lastly our Tibbs Lauren Dawna joined our Recreational Footy 5s to do some running football.. Two Teams entered into the Bridgwater Competition… the Greens with Tibbs Lauren and Dawna only went and won!! With The reds coming Second💚⚽️❤️ awesome… thanks to some friends from Exeter and Plymouth for helping out today…

New Trial Date Announced

The Walking Football Association’s England Women’s Kicking Cancer Team is delighted to announce a new trial date for players looking to become part of this unique and inspiring squad.

📅 Sunday 16th August
📍 Oxstalls Sports Park, Gloucestershire
⏰ 2:00pm – 5:00pm

We are inviting women aged 40+ who play for a WFA-affiliated club and are living with cancer, in remission, or have survived a cancer diagnosis to attend our trials.

The women in our team share something far more powerful than a love of football—they share life experiences. Every player understands the emotional and physical journey that comes with a cancer diagnosis because they have lived it or are living it themselves. That shared understanding creates an incredible bond, where no one has to explain how they feel, and everyone supports one another both on and off the pitch.

Our team provides a positive, welcoming environment where friendship, laughter, and football go hand in hand. Together, we want to inspire more women affected by cancer to discover the joy and benefits of walking football, proving that a diagnosis does not define us or stop us from doing the things we love. We believe our squad supports one another, and celebrates every achievement. We give hope, build confidence, and show others that there is still so much to look forward to.
