In the back ground of all the activities and fun. We have all the boring stuff to take care of.
Bill paying, book keeping, maintenance, grounds keeping, cleaning. You name it, we all do it 💪🔥
Recently the kitchen was inspected by Environmental Health.
We are so pleased to say it was a PASS 🤩📣
To achieve this we had to take on Food Hygiene training up to level 2
Some one pass the 🍾 🥂

WAT Music Collective gather weekly at Tarbrax Village Hall and Common. They are completely self governed. It shows how well they all work together. Their performance was fabulous at Community Fun Day ❤️

Where do I start with all the Thank You messages, It's a long one because so many people helped❤️

First up is to our tiny wee committee who have worked so hard to help bring our Fun Day from an idea to a full blown community event. Love to you all.

Then to our wonderful sponsors.
South Lanarkshire Council, WATIF Community Trust, MW Ground Works, Eagle Couriers, Eric Williamson, Livelines Tackle & Guns, Tesco and Riverside Vets. Without your help and sponsorship this event would not be free for all to enjoy.

Our Events participants who gave up their time and expertise freely. Juniper Green Air Rifle Club, Livelines Tackle & Guns, Ian & Andy from Eliminate, WATIF Community Trust, Riverside Vets, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire & rescue Service, WAT MC, ArtClub, Jack Brodie, Paul from WAT Run Club, Graeme & Caroleann.

All the bands, singers, musical engineers (Lewis ) and entertainers for the day. You put on such a fantastic show from 2pm to very late 🎤
Our amazing support of community volunteers who always show up when the stress feels like its about to get overwhelming. You tidied, mowed, strimmed, put out posters, built marquees, baked, worked the whole day away in the kitchen serving, worked tombola & raffle, helped lots of children Hook a Duck, played Frisbee on the common, served in the bar. Then after our really busy day. You showed up yet again this morning to help clean, tidy and deconstruct the marquees. I can't tell you how lovely it was to hear your giggles and jokes as you worked away, such a great wee team outside while our inside team got cracking with the tables, chairs, sweeping, dishes and kitchen.

Tarbrax Bowling Club saved us going into the evening when the bar ran out of beer 🤣 It was great cross community help topping our bar back up for us. Yet again I asked and someone comes along to help.

JP's Inflatables were an absolute hit with the very little ones and some of the big ones too.
Our Keith in the Community Transport vehicle who drove all afternoon taking people back and forth from the bing parking. You are fabulous as always.

Gary Keenan who always lets us use the wee bing for parking. This allows us to shut the road off for a few hours to keep our kiddies safe.

Tar & Brax our mascots for the day!

Then the one person who has kept me on task, the person who has worked the job sheets until every task has been covered, the person who spent hours folding tombola tickets, printing posters, keeping track of our budget and also spent a whole day in the kitchen then showed up for clean up today despite being in pain. Fiona our amazing treasurer. Fiona you are the reason the day ran so well. It could not have been done without your meticulous planning. The time you have given us all can only be measured by all the thoughtful and fantastic feedback I have been hearing.

Thank You All
