A huge well done to everyone who joined us for our annual Tamworth 5 Mile and 1 Mile Fun Run today.
The weather was kind and there were lots of smiles to be seen all around the course! 😊
Congratulations to our winners Jolyon Leavesley (27:37, Tamworth AC) and Emma Pick (28:12 - new course record, Peel Road Runners) 👏

Tamworth 5 Mile and 1 Mile Fun Run

We are really looking forward to hosting our annual Tamworth 5 Mile and 1 Mile Fun Run event. The weather forecast currently looks reasonable and we’re expecting a good turnout!
There are still some places remaining if you would like to take part. Just enter online via the link below 👇
For those coming please note that parking is limited at the start and a small £1 charge will be payable by cash or card on entry to the stadium. Please allow plenty of time to arrive and car share wherever possible. There are on-street parking options within walking distance of the stadium. Please be respectful of local residents.

September 28th 2025 We're hosting a junior quadrathlon that kids from Tamworth AC aged 8 to 13 can enter.

8 / 9 year old girls and boys – 75mtrs – 600mtrs – standing long jump - howler

10 / 11 year old girls and boys – 75mtrs – 600mtrs – long jump - howler

12 / 13 year old girls and boys – 100mtrs – 800mtrs – long jump - javelin…...

Tickets available at the desk in the clubhouse.

Don't forget to get your tickets!! There's only 2 weeks left to go. Closing date to buy tickets will be WEDS 3rd SEPT!!!!

We'll have a raffle, with prizes including a set of starting blocks, a voucher from Alpha Sports, and a Sports Massage voucher, and more...

We still need more donations, which can be brought to the club. Money from the raffle goes straight back into the club so please help to make it a good one.
