The Tryder Cup Possibly the best golf tournament on the planet. Players are the best in their field and are the ult This annual tournment has been played since 2005.

Contesting for the priceless 'Tryder Cup' in 2011 the competition was increased to an invitation of 4 players and a new team trophy was introduced 'The Golden candlesticks'. the competion moves to a new venue each year testing the players skills in all conditions.

The team match play event was played between Robert & Graham and Tim & Garry.

The game swung towards Tim & Garry at the start then was clawed back by Robert & Graham to take a 2 shot lead into the back 9.

With the last remaining holes it swung again and was all level then a superb shot from Robert into the heart of the green on the 17th set up the win by 1 hole.

Congrats to all competitors for a great competition.

The 2025 Tryder Cup has come to an end after an excellent weekends golf in North Somerset.

The trophy was hard fought with a battle between Mr Robert Neaverson and Mr Garry Green with Robert coming out on top to retain the trophy. 🏆

This weekend sees the return of The Tryder Cup - to be played over 2 days at the prestigious & challenging Burnham & Berrow Golf Club in North Somerset.

The team competition is complete after a very hot day at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club. Victorious this year Mr Tim Wolstenholme and Mr Robert Neaverson after a playoff hole as scores were tied after 18 holes.
