It is awarded to players who embrace challenges, work hard in training, listen, learn, and continually strive to improve their game.

This year’s Star of the Year is Jimmy. Throughout the season, Jimmy has shown fantastic dedication to his development and a real desire to improve. He has approached training with a positive attitude, worked hard to develop his skills, and consistently applied himself week after week. His commitment, resilience, and willingness to learn have seen him make significant progress, making him a thoroughly deserving winner of the Star of the Year Award. Congratulations, Jimmy! 🌟⚽

Pandora is a very worthy winner of our Superstar Award. She embodies the values of Gillway: she turns up, empowers others, smiles through every session, and always gives her very best. Over the past six months alone, she has collected an incredible 13 Superstar Awards, which says everything about the kind of young lady she is. Brave, courageous, humble, and consistently positive, Pandora is a real credit to herself and an excellent role model for others. She thoroughly deserves to be our Superstar of the Year.

What an incredible day celebrating another fantastic year at Gillway Academy.

A huge thank you to all of our players for their hard work, commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn throughout the season. Every week you turn up with smiles on your faces, support one another, and continue to develop both as footballers and as young people. We are incredibly proud of every single one of you.

To our volunteers, thank you for giving up your time, energy, and passion to make Gillway Academy what it is. Your dedication behind the scenes and on the pitch provides opportunities for so many young people to enjoy football in a positive and supportive environment.

To our parents and families, thank you for your continued support throughout the year. From early starts and late finishes to encouragement from the sidelines, your support plays a huge part in our players’ journeys.
