Doubles week!

Our first hour today was spent practicing those pesky doubles all around the board. Game after game all based around having as many shots at the doubles section of the board as possible. Training that mindset to see every double as equal size and enhancing their confidence...

Then to keep on with the theme, a pairs league!

A massive congratulations to this week's league champions, Tommy and Seth winning all 4 of their 4 games.

Absolutely amazing to see our older lads working with the younger ones and helping them to improve their game.

Great work everyone this week! Keep up the practice.

It's with a heavy heart I write this post today.

Last night was our last session at Tamworth Snooker, Pool, and Darts Club. Unfortunately, they have had to close for a while with no definate date of reopening.

It's been a hard slog over the past few years to build up to what we have but we now have a great bunch of friends and youngsters playing darts every week!

We with to thank everyone at the Sports bar for everything they have done for us. Kye and his team have been amazing in helping us to keep going and making sure all the kids are kept hydrated and fed! We really wish them all the best for the future and hope that if such a time comes, we can see them all back where they belong every Wednesday.

However... This is not the end for Tamworth Junior Darts Academy!

We have managed to secure a new venue at the PIP club in Fazely. The team over there have offered to open up earlier than they usually do to allow us the use of their facilities. The doors will open at 5.00 so the academy session will move times slightly, 5.30-7.30 for us to still give you your full 2 hour session. If you do need to leave earlier that's still fine too. We just want to keep the kids playing darts!

If this does cause any issues, please feel free to drop me a message and I'll see what I can do to help.
