WORKOUT WEDNESDAY//TRAIN FOR LIFE
So I woke up at 2am this morning and came up with a thought. The thought was how can I make exercise relevant to people specifically who don’t want to look ripped and I thought why not take some photos/ video on some exercises which crossover to everyday life. I think Personally training for life is important as everyone’s goals maybe different as some people just want to be able to do stuff everyday as they get older such as playing with their kids or grandkids or this maybe just to stay mobile so they can maintain their own independence as long as possible and this is one of the reasons which made me fall in love with CrossFit as it isn’t just for the athlete it’s for the person who wants to keep their independence and keep in shape as they get older and as a PT this is more important to me than maybe getting ripped. Functional exercises are by far my favourite for this reason as almost every exercise is a natural movement in which we use everyday. In the videos/ pictures you will see me do the exercise in the gym and then you will see me doing a few reps in an everyday situation which may happen. There are more exercises you can do for everyday life but these are just a few that can pop up. (see story for videos)
