Winner - Guy Williams - player kindly sponsored by Dave Parry’s Icecream

In the summer of 2024 Jack Dodds completed one of his finest pieces of business to date by securing the signing of Guy Williams from Brecon FC. They say wine gets better with age, well so does Guy. Since making his debut for the club in August 2024, he has rarely put a foot wrong, delivering consistently outstanding performances week after week.

His calm, level headed nature and quiet yet assertive personality has made him an excellent role model for the club's younger players both on and off the pitch. A hugely popular figure throughout the club, Guy continues to set the standard with his high standards and commitment. Everyone at the club hopes to see him gracing the King George V Playing Fields for many years to come.

Award - Young Player of the season - award kindly sponsored by Walter and Simba

Winner - Eli Jenkins - player kindly sponsored by - Riverside Swimming Pool

In his first season at the club, Eli wasted little time in establishing himself as our number one goalkeeper. Once settled, the gentle giant quickly cemented his place in the side with a series of outstanding performances and countless crucial saves throughout the campaign.

Among his many highlights his display away at Presteigne FC was nothing short of superb, while his penalty save against the league's runaway top scorer Ricky Lynes in the League Cup Final proved to be the decisive moment in securing the trophy.
Eli's calmness, shot-stopping ability and growing presence between the posts have made him a vital member of the squad.

We look forward to seeing him continue to grow in confidence and hopefully wear the number one shirt for many years to come

Award - Top Assister - Award kindly sponsored by Orion Motors Talgarth Limited

Winner - Kyle O'Shea - Player kindly sponsored by Frazer Mcanally Painting & Decorating

The man simply loves scoring goals. Once again, Kyle has proven himself to be one of Mid Wales' finest finishers, scoring 16 goals and providing 7 assists this season.

If you put the right players around Kyle he almost guarantees double figures every campaign. His knack for being in the right place at the right time is a hugely valuable attribute and one that consistently makes the difference in key moments.

Beyond his goalscoring exploits, Kyle's back to goal play and his ability to bring others into the game has been central to the way the team has played throughout his various spells at the club. His experience, movement, and eye for goal continue to make him a vital part of the squad.

Here's to many more seasons and many more goals from our KO9... (KO17 these days)

Award - Most Improved Player of the season - Award kindly sponsored by Stuart Rhodes

Winner - Rhodri Inseal

The young and tenacious right sided midfielder Rhodri has proven he is more than capable of making the step up from junior to senior football. Having joined the club shortly after the season had started, he wasted little time in giving manager Rob Gunning a welcome selection headache.

Following a number of impressive training sessions and several positive cameo appearances, Rhodri earned increased opportunities after Christmas and was rewarded with a run of starts.

As the season progressed, he produced a number of highly commendable performances, playing an important role in the team's strong end of season form.

His energy, determination, and willingness to learn have made him a valuable asset to the squad, and he looks set to play an increasingly important role for the club in the years ahead

Winner - Aled Sharman - Player Kindly Sponsored by Loll and Steven Potter

Although game time has been fairly limited for Aled this season, he has never let an opportunity pass him by and has often given manager Rob Gunning a welcome selection headache and occasionally a headache in general!

His commitment in training and professionalism when called upon has never gone unnoticed. Whenever he has been given the chance to contribute Aled has grabbed the opportunity with both hands

His confidence and willingness to put his more senior brother, Tom Sharman, firmly in his place have also earned him the respect and admiration of his teammates. A highly popular member of our squad

A player, a barman, a groundsman, a helping hand, and an all round great bloke. Every club needs someone like Matthew.
