A day late but happy birthday Billy. Not only my judo coach but my mentor and even more so my friend!
Looked after me as a young 16 quiet highland girl who moved to the big smoke of Edinburgh to train full time. Since a wee girl all I wanted to do was move to ‘train at the best club in the country (EdinburghJudo) and train with the best coach’. (My words every time we drove past the club on London road)
Little did I know it wouldn’t just be a new coach to help me be the best judo player I could be but help shaped me for the outside world too! (And of course remind me that Rangers have lost!)
