We are thrilled to congratulate Matt on achieving an impressive 40 points at his recent and first ever dan grading.

At just 16 years old, Matt exemplifies exceptional dedication and serves as a wonderful role model for our entire club community.

We are immensely proud of his achievement and look forward to formally presenting him with his black belt very soon, as we know he will achieve it 🥋

‘Evan Molloy fresh off a brilliant performance to claim a career-best silver medal in the -81kg J2 category at the IBSA Judo European Championships’.

What an incredible honor it was to have Evan, a true inspiration to judo, join us as a guest coach at our club not that long ago!

An incredible first day at the 2026 IBSA Judo European Championships for Great Britain! 🇬🇧🥋

Evan Molloy produced a brilliant performance to claim silver in the -81kg J2 category, securing a career-best European Championships result! 🥈

Jolene Donaghue and Jimmy Alderson also gained valuable experience competing at European level and facing some of the best judoka the continent has to offer 👏
