The stunning location of Bramham Park has hosted this prestigious CCI4* Three Day Event since 1974. Bramham Park has been the family home of the Lane Fox family for the past 300 years and the family are actively involved in making the Bramham International Horse Trials one of the most popular and successful Events in the Country. The magnificent house provides the backdrop for the main arena activities and the Cross Country Course is set in the glorious and historic parkland.

It’s been another super day at Defender Bramham, with the sunshine making a reappearance and plenty to see and do across the site ☀️

We’ve enjoyed some brilliant sport, the trade stands have been buzzing and there’ve been smiles all round 😄

Early to go this morning, Barnie Brotherton and DHI King Nelson certainly meant business when they snatched the lead in the British U25 National Championship, which runs as part of the Defender CCI4*-S, thanks to a score of 30.2 💪

Last year’s winners, Tom Woodward and Low Moor Lucky, sit in second on 31.6, while yesterday’s top performers, Cerys Macaulay and Kananaskis drop to third (32.9) 🫶

We have an all-new overnight podium at the end of the dressage in the Defender CCI4*-S 🤩

Jesse Campbell and Speedwell proved that it’s never over until it’s over when they took a late afternoon lead with a score of 25.5, overtaking Tom McEwen and JL Dublin (26.8). Kitty King and Renkum Jitterbug complete the top three on 27.7 👏

New for Defender Bramham this year is the Askham Bryan College flower marquee. Competitor Laura Collett stopped by earlier today to join in with one of their horticultural workshops 💐

If you’re visiting this weekend, make sure to pay a visit to the marquee to admire the beautiful flowers and have a go at a workshop for yourself 🌸
