Back in my Happy Place!🥰

First outing since June & she's behaved impeccably.

Super pleased with her performance but sack the jockey🙈😅....very rusty rider who clearly forgot how to ride & let the team down, Nyx really gave me 2 confident rounds & she thoroughly enjoyed the job.... I need to put more trust into her now and let our rythem flow better together.

We even managed to come home with some frillies, 70cm we got 5th place & we even did our first ever 80cm for 3rd place baggins us A qualification card for both classes at the 😁

It's time to get my ass back into gear & get back out competing. It's been far too long!
I've enjoyed my time happy hacking, but we need something to aim for again, I think the ponies will enjoy getting back out again & having a change of scenery.

I'm looking forward to our trip to this weekend with Nyx for some SJ....praying the weather is good us!

Fab day at port Royal with the main man Ace!

Not our best scores but hey ho thats how it goes sometimes... still happy with our results considering I've not ridden through the test and I only learnt it yesterday🙈

Fabulous day at .eec yesterday with Nyx for the combined training, really pleased with our dressage score we rode the BE97 test for 69.75% the judge gave us some really positive feedback & lovely comments about our partnership 🥰
70cm showjumping next and she just gets more and more confident. One really unlucky pole but super pleased with our round, not bad for a horse that wouldn't even jump a cross pole.

Total scores put us at 3rd place 🥉and we even won some treats they'll really go down a treat 😍 im sure nyx will share them with the rest of the gang🐴

Still can't quite believe the horse that couldn't and won't ever get anywhere has qualified for a championship.... its taken us a long time to get to where we are, but the rewards of retraining an ROR is just unbelievable. The amount they have to give you is amazing once you get that understanding and bond.... this chestnut mare has given me so much and made me a better, more quiet, compassionate rider.

Lets keep at it Nyx 💪❤️

Ponies are all moved & settled into their new home 🥰

Gutted to have left the other yard as It was so lovely, but the yard owner had decided to sell up.

So lucky to have found a spot opposite our house with plenty of space & lush grass, its nice to have the gang in the same field again.
I've always wanted to have the horses so close to home.... having them at home is the ultimate dream though!

What more do you want on a bank holiday weekend other than ponies & Prosecco 🥂🐴

° Completed our first hack yesterday, all in good company Sarah Rhodes & Emma Baker for the Myhackathon riding a total of 6.15 miles, which isn't a bad start 🙂

Cheeky celebratory drinks after to celebrate Emma's engagement 💍 🥂 Congratulations to you both ❤️

° All money raised will be for TheBrookeCharity helping Donkeys & Horses, so it's all for a good cause any donations will be greatly appreciated 🥰
