How we think things will go and how weight loss actually looks. Don’t pay too much attention to the scales.

Use other measurement options such as;
Photo’s - weekly or bi-weekly
Body measurements-use a tape measure in the same places each week
How your clothes feel on you
Use weighing scales to weigh out your raw food to ensure your not over eating.

priorities 💫

When something is important to you, you will make it happen. I see too many people investing into things that don’t serve them and then they complain they aren’t where they want to be. 🤷🏽‍♀️ 🤦🏽‍♀️

Financially, their health, how they feel about themselves, etc

It comes down to priorities. You can’t complain about things not working out for you if you are not spending time and energy on bettering yourself. If you want to make more money then make it a priority to find a better career path. If you want a better body, then make it a priority to cook instead of eating out and not drink every single weekend. If you want a better state of mind invest in personal development.

You have a choice every day to do better so instead of complaining .. make the choice to take action and DO better. ✌🏽 ☺️

“I have been supported by Kat over the last 10 weeks in 1-2-1 Personal Training sessions. My goal is to lose weight and start to tone in time to wear my wedding dress (finally).
The training has been good and consistent if not tough sometimes but at a pace my body could cope with . I feel much stronger already and I’m taking back a much better shape after the COVID pounds I have put on.
I went through a bit of a phase where the scales were not moving and got disheartened but soon realised from these photos that it’s not all about those numbers.
This is the 2nd time I have used Kat for Personal Training and both times had great success as well as making a good friend.
I feel so much better in myself and I now have the bug to keep going and better myself even more.” Emma

Personally I prefer some steady state cardio post workout, usually keeping my heart rate around 100-110 BPM (beats per minute)

Setting up your MINDSET for long term results 💫

I wanted to talk a little bit about mindset and how it affects not only your results in your physique, but every other aspect of your life as well. Once you have the right mindset moving forward opportunities are endless. Here are 8 important factors to consider when it comes to setting up your mindset for long term results:
1) Small steps turn into big step- focus on small steps rather then big ones. Focusing on your daily habits and making small changes will affect your results over time! Small steps turn into big steps.

2) Play the long game, not the short game - of course we want to see results fast through our training and nutrition, but think long term. When you think long term this allows you to be realistic with your goals.

3)Stay away from quick fixes - we all know that extreme approaches lead to extreme disappointments. When it comes to seeing results it’s a life style change. Once you focus on that you will avoid quick fixes which we know in the end, doesn’t work.

4)Be patient - this is super important! It takes time to see results so be patient with yourself and during the process!

5)Set backs happen, and it’s okay! - you are going to have really good weeks in your journey but also bad ones. Don’t let the bad weeks throw you off. It’s part of the journey!

6)Celebrate the little wins! - fall in love with the process of your journey! Celebrate all the little wins and changes over time, not just the destination it’s self!

7) believe in yourself! - believe that with the right mindset and right direction you WILL achieve your goals. Believe you can do it , and you will!!

8) Put a plan to your goal - when it comes to seeing results it’s important you are following a plan. You will see better and faster results this way than winging it
