Social Touch runs every Monday in Swindon, open to anyone 14 and up. Wear whatever you've got, bring a mate if it helps, and give it one night.

Your first session with the Sharks, start to finish.

First you turn up - we'll be looking out for you. Then we show you the ropes. Then the whistle goes and it's game on.

Mondays are relaxed Social Touch, Fridays are skills-focused Team Training. All abilities, aged 14 plus, from total beginners to seasoned players, and no ego required. Nervous about walking in alone? Just turn up and say hello.

No idea how touch rugby works? Here it is in half a minute. A touch counts as a tackle, so no tackling and no bruising. Six a side, tap the ball with your foot, shift it backwards and you're off. That's genuinely the whole game. No experience needed, no ego, no pressure — just a good run and a proper laugh with the squad. Social Touch on Mondays, Team Training on Fridays. Everyone aged 14+ welcome. Come and have a go.

A brilliant day of Touch at the Cheltenham Charity Touch Tournament on Saturday, with 20 teams taking to the pitches at Cheltenham Tigers RFC.

For the Sharks, one of the most satisfying things was seeing how much our game has developed since competing here last year — better skills, stronger Touch principles and some really good rugby on display throughout the day.

What makes that even better is the mix within the squad. Some have been with the Sharks since we started nearly two years ago, while others have only been playing with us for a couple of months. All out there competing together as one team.

Plenty still to work on, but great to see the progress — and a cracking day with a great group of people. 🦈🏉

The Sharks are heading back to Cheltenham! 🦈🏉

Next Saturday we return to the Cheltenham Charity Touch Tournament for our second year, joining 18 teams for what should be another cracking day of Touch Rugby.

We had a brilliant time at last year’s tournament and we’re looking forward to getting the blue and orange back on the pitch, playing plenty of rugby and enjoying the social side of the day too.
