Yesterday I had an unpleasant experience with a schovenist. Nothing major, but it did result in me calling them a 'patriarchal prick'

I was proud of both my alliteration and my reaction. A reaction my younger self would not have had the confidence to express.

Yes, unfortunately there is still risk involved when we are faced with misogyny, and it is disgusting that we still have to face it.

However, one of the most radical things we can do to stand up against mysogny is to work on our own radiance.

Here's to a weekend full of pleasure and power.

Some summer blooms. Taken on the Old Town railway line and Town Gardens.

Inspired me to tend to our garden last weekend, I filled up the entire garden waste bin and we still have enough 'mess' to support the wildlife.

Heidi and Inara came out to help me, but spent most of the time relocating slugs and setting up a snail hospital for a little fella with a broken shell.

Despite their best efforts, he didn't survive but it was rather sweet watching them try.

This morning me, my new t-shirt and Ruby our strawberry pixie did a lovely thing.

I tied fresh sage to my bike and cycled to the farm to hold my first of many Reclaim mornings.

Interweaving the wisdom of the wild woman with extracts borrowed from the writing of Clarissa Pinkola Estes' with original poetry, soulful music, somatic movement and heart led discussions.

The tea and cake went down a treat too. I feel very proud that an idea I've been incubating for years is as good in reality as it was in my dreaming it up.

Some snaps from our half-term.

We kept it low key as Heidi's halfway through her exams but we certainly packed in a lot of fun!!

I really appreciated the week to recalibrate, hide from the heat, lie and dance in the thunder storm and hang out cousin club style.

Being silly is really very good for the soul.

If I've not seen you already this week I look forward to catching up with you on the mat soon.

You can expect tension melting yoga, dreamy relaxation, waking to the sound of herbal tea being poured and homemade sweet treats being handed out.Β 

We will enjoy our refreshments while connecting to an individual Goddess infused oracle card reading, leading us naturally into a women's circle, where we will delve into our soul guidance for the month ahead.Β
