Have you ever looked at our posts and thought to yourself, 'My kid would love that, but I bet it costs an arm and a leg'?

If so, you might be pleasantly surprised. As a wholly volunteer-led club based in the local community at Moredon Sporting Hub, our costs stay low. Most of our youth riders pay £62 per year, comprising £20 per term coaching fees covering Saturday skills and roller coaching sessions, plus £2 for annual club membership, with optional sessions on the circuit at an additional £3 per session. We offer free trial sessions so you and your riders can get a feel for the club and ask any questions before committing to any fees.

Interested? For more information about our on and off-road coaching sessions, and to arrange a free trial session, message us here or email us at [email protected]

National Series Round 2 visits Cannock Chase this weekend with Max back in action, and the following weekend we're spoilt for choice with regional races at both Round 2 of the Southern XC Series at Crow Hill and Newnham Park hosting South West XC's Round 1.

If you've a budding racer on your hands who fancies joining the action this season, we've great news - it's not too late. Drop us a message here, or email us at [email protected]; we'll help your young rider get race-ready.

A strong ride from Max at the National XC Round 1 at Newnham Park yesterday. Having emerged from the first corner dead last and distanced with a dropped and jammed chain following contact during the start, Max set about catching and making his way through the out-of-sight field to be back in the pack by the top of the climb. A good battle for 9th place ensued for a couple of laps before the combined effects of the early chase back onto and through the field, and a later tumble, took their toll, leaving Max to roll over the line in tenth place.
