**FOF (Future of Football) Tournament**

⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️

Nalgo Knights U8s took part in their very first tournament today, and what a fantastic experience it was for a team that has only been together for just over a month👏👏

After a slow start, the boys grew in confidence with every game, picking up some draws and a win as they found their feet against more experienced opposition 🙌👏

Their improvement throughout the day was clear to see, showing great determination, teamwork, and a willingness to learn 🙌🙌

They did the club proud, representing Nalgo with fantastic attitudes both on and off the pitch. The boys enjoyed themselves during the games and made the most of the time between matches, creating memories and building friendships along the way 🫶

A brilliant day for the Knights and plenty of positives to take forward as they continue their football journey together. The future looks bright for this young team! 🟣🟢⚽👏

*FOF (Future of Football) Tournament Report*

🏆🐍🐍🐍🏆

The Nalgo U14 Cobras successfully retained their FOF (Future of Football) Tournament title today with a series of outstanding performances from start to finish 🙌🏆

The girls topped their group after an impressive run of results, winning 3-0, 3-1 and 1-0 before drawing 1-1 in their final group match. Those performances secured a bye into the final, where they produced an amazing display to win 5-0 and lift the trophy for the second consecutive year 👏👏

Throughout the tournament, the Cobras played brilliantly. Their quality on the ball, determination off it, and togetherness as a team were evident in every game. The girls played with confidence, worked tirelessly for one another and showed exactly why they are such a brilliant side 👏👏

A fantastic achievement by the players. The coaches and the parents are really proud of you, well done, girls! 🐍💚🏆

💚🖤 Abbey Meads Football Festival 🖤💚

This weekend it was the turn of the younger Panthers to grace the AbbeyMeads football festival. Many of them playing in their own age group of Under 9 for the first time.
With usual keeper Isobel G ineligible, we welcomed Hammers superstar defender Isobel P (who is also a useful keeper) into the team.

The Panthers swept their way through the group, winning 5 and drawing 1 of their 6 games, scoring a ridiculous 17 goals (every outfield player scoring) and conceding only 1. There were hat tricks for Pearl and Maya, Aubrey and B weighed in with important braces.

After topping the group, Berkshire league side Cold Ash awaited in the semi final. The Panthers dominated but could not find the breakthrough and a shootout awaited. A great save and penalty from Isobel, meant Ava and B could settle the affair from the spot.

So on to the final…. AEK BOCO a team from Bristol with a big reputation were the opponents. And once again in a final the Panthers dominated but ran out of luck. 2 deflected goals gave them a mountain to climb. Ava pulled one back, lobbing the keeper (again) from the halfway line, but despite our best efforts it wasn’t to be.

The performance level from these girls today was scintillating, passing, movement, incredible pace, long range goals it had everything.

A special shout out to Shreya who for the last 2 weekends has been absolutely top class at the heart of the Panthers defence.
