📢 CHANGE OF PLANS – SOVEREIGN BBQ IS NOW A PICNIC! 🧺☀️🌦️

A little change of plan for our Sovereign get-together!

🔥 Due to the recent dry weather, the council has banned BBQs at Lydiard Park, so our BBQ will now become a picnic.

The change of venue also gives us access to some indoor space at the Jubilee Club House, which may come in handy now the forecast is suggesting a few showers! ☔😂

Our next Black Belt Pre-Grading takes place this Friday at North Wilts TKD.

This session is for those preparing for the next stage of their Black Belt journey, with the focus firmly on standards, preparation and giving your best.

⚠️ All Red Belts and above must wear a full white dobok, unless agreed with us in advance.

🥉 A BRONZE MEDAL DELIVERY FOR TOMMY! 🥋👏

A lovely moment at training last night as Tommy was finally presented with his bronze medal from last month’s Global Taekwondo International - GTI Junior Open! 🥉

Tommy had to leave the competition before the medals were awarded, so a huge thank you to Mr Newman, who very kindly dropped it in for him so we could make sure it reached its rightful owner. ❤️

We’re really proud of you, Tommy — a well-deserved medal and another great achievement to add to the collection! 👊🥋

🥋🔥 NORTH WILTS TKD IS HEADING TO THE SOVEREIGN OPEN! 🔥🥋

The sparring medals have been ordered and it’s getting exciting! 🥇🥈🥉

We’ll be attending the Sovereign Open 2026 on Saturday 10th October in Swindon, and we’d love to see a big North Wilts team taking to the mats! 💪

There’s Individual Patterns and Sparring, with divisions for Juniors, Cadets, Adults and Seniors — so plenty of opportunities to get involved, whether it’s your first competition or you’re a seasoned competitor.
