Swindon Tennis Club A friendly club based in the heart of Swindon at St Mark’s Recreational Ground. Swindon Tennis Club is based at St Marks Recreation Ground in Swindon.

The club originated from the former GWR Tennis Club which had run Tennis teams and competitions since the 1930's. Swindon Community Tennis Club moved from the Delta Tennis Centre in April 2010 and is working in Partnership with Swindon Borough Council and the LTA to improve the provision of tennis and the facilities at St Mark's Recreation Ground including new Flood Lights and a new Club House. We

aim to provide affordable and accessible tennis for all with good off court facilities and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. In December 2008 Swindon Tennis Club achieved Tennis Clubmark accreditation - one of just six clubs in Wiltshire.

Last Wednesday we had 17 club members turn out for a hit. Let's see if we can beat that number tomorrow! Rec session starts at 6pm and tomorrow night is extra special as we will also be doing the Wimbledon draw!
