Two hours. Two happy siblings. Two new cyclists! 🚲🧡

This brother and sister came along for a CycleKids session - and what a difference two hours made!

Not only are they both now confidently pedalling, but this 12-year-old can now cycle to school! 🙌

And this is something we really want to shout about: CycleKids isn’t just for little ones.

Older children can sometimes feel nervous or even embarrassed about coming to learn to cycle. They might feel like they’re “too old” to be learning something that everyone else seems to have mastered.

But there’s absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. 💛

Whether your child is 4, 8, 12 or even older, it’s never too late to learn — and seeing that confidence grow is one of our favourite parts of what we do.

🚴‍♀️ What a way to end the school year! 🎉

A huge well done to all the Reception children at Tregoze Primary School today. Every single child rode a pedal bike independently – an amazing achievement! 🥳

They’ve been an absolute pleasure to teach: enthusiastic, determined, and always kind to one another. Your teachers and parents should be incredibly proud.

A HUGE thank you to the Reception team at The Croft Primary School for welcoming me over the last two terms.

The children have been incredible. Every session was approached with enthusiasm, determination and resilience. They embraced every challenge, encouraged one another and celebrated each other’s successes.

In just 10 sessions:
🚲 43 children are now confidently pedalling.
⭐ 17 children are gliding confidently on a balance bike and are now pedal-ready.

That’s all 60 Reception children developing the confidence, skills and enthusiasm to enjoy cycling beyond the school gates.

As schools place an even greater emphasis on high-quality enrichment opportunities, it’s fantastic to see what can be achieved when every child is given the chance to experience something new, build resilience and develop a lifelong active skill.

I’m already looking forward to working with the next cohort of Reception Crofties next year!
