He has chores.
He helps around the house.
I ask him to bring the washing in, unload the dishwasher, look after his brother, walk the dog, help with the shopping…

And he does.

But sometimes I make homemade pizza from scratch
and carry it upstairs to his bedroom.

Not because he’s entitled to it.
Not because I have to.

Because I want to be nice to my boy.

And maybe when you show your children kindness,
they learn to give it back.

So when I need his help,
he doesn’t turn around and say,
“I’ve got better things to do.”

We’re kind to each other.
That’s the relationship I’m trying to build. ❤️

Highly recommend a Neapolitan Pizza dough recipe from Cookidoo with Caputo Pasta Flour 00 and Fine Semolina Flour👌👌 absolutely amazing pizzas every time 🍕

🥔 7 seconds. That’s it. SEVEN.

Did you know your Thermomix can turn cooked potatoes into the smoothest, creamiest mashed potatoes in just 7 seconds?

No standing over a hot pot.
No hand-mashing.
No arm workout. 😂

Just pop in the butterfly whisk, add your cooked potatoes with a little cream or butter, and 7 seconds / speed 4 later… the most gloriously smooth, fluffy mash. 🤤

And honestly? This is one of those little Thermomix tricks that makes you wonder how you ever lived without it.

I’ve sold so many Thermomixes because of how brilliantly they mash — potatoes, peas, veg… anything that needs to be beautifully smooth.

So if you’re already boiling your potatoes on the hob for dinner, let the Thermomix do the mashing.

Because who wants to stand there mashing potatoes when dinner is waiting? 😉
