Memorial Rods for Jake

This week, we had the privilege of crafting this stunning set of our Rival rods for Jake, whose father sadly passed away recently.

Jake gave us a rough outline of what he had in mind, and we took it from there, Cotswold style!

The result is something truly special.

Incorporated into each rod is a small amount of his father’s ashes, carefully set into a love heart within the finish.

An incredibly personal and meaningful touch, ensuring that Jake’s father will always be by his side on his fishing adventures.

This was an extremely intricate build, requiring exceptional care, patience and attention to detail.
Every stage was carried out with the utmost respect for the significance of what we were creating.
For us, custom rod building is about so much more than simply producing beautiful fishing rods. Sometimes, it’s about creating something that carries memories for a lifetime.

MEMORIAL RODS ❤️

A very special set of rods recently completed here at Cotswold Rods.

We had the privilege of crafting this set of 10ft 3.5lb retractable rods for Reece, with a deeply personal touch.

Carefully incorporated into the resin of each rod is a tiny amount of ashes from his loved ones, allowing Craig to take a part of them with him on every fishing adventure.

It’s an incredibly personal process, one that requires the utmost care, respect and attention to detail.

For us, rod building is about so much more than simply creating fishing rods. Sometimes, it’s about creating something that holds memories and meaning that will last a lifetime.

Craig, thank you for trusting us with something so precious. We sincerely hope we’ve done you and your loved ones proud.
