Slimming world are with holding important information from you that is stopping you from seeing faster results!

Just because something is a free food and you can eat as much of it as you like doesn't mean it doesn't have calories In order to loads weight you need to create a energy deficit, burn more than what you are putting in.

Here's some tips to help

👉Count calories as numbers don't lie
👉look to increase your daily protein intake this will help keep you fuller for longer
👉look to be more active, you don't need a gym
membership you can train from home or go for walks stop demonising food groups, it's not the foods that are the problem, it's the over consumption.

The real reason your not losing weight is you are not creating a calorie deficit

Simply eating healthy foods won’t get you into shape and drop those pounds for summer.

Measuring your food is an obsessive and it doesn’t take time, simply weighing out your food will keep you accountable and allow you to make changes and cut down when your are required to do so.

Don’t play a guessing game and go Around in circles when it comes to your nutrition and getting into shape, track what you consume and you can’t go wrong.

I think I could make a 4 hour
presentation on all the myths that exist out there.

More times than not, it simply comes from the distillation of information. Kind of like playing the game telephone or operator - the message gets lots over time and all that remains are fragments of truth that eventually get misinterpreted and unfortunately spread. It's really no ones fault, just the nature of how information travels.

So, in an attempt to shed some light and not make the world of strength/fitness so confusing I wanted to share some of the common myths I get confronted with.

There are lots of others ones too, like lifting weights make women bulky, lifting weights make you muscle bound (I wish it was that easy), you have to train to failure, machines are bad as so on... but for today we will just stick with these three
My biggest piece of fitness advice is quite simple. When in doubt, do something daily and try new things.

If you are moving daily you are probably 90% of the way there.

⚖️ Tools to lose weight ⚖️

I wanted to use emojis to show how
intermittent fasting works for weight loss.

It's basically a way of using time instead of restriction within meals to lower calories. Sure, I could have used all whole healthy foods, but the calories wouldn't have added
up using the one line of emojis. 😂

With time restricted feeding, you only eat for a certain part of the day. Many people skip breakfast and then stop eating after 6 or so. If you only eat what you usually eat in that time span and cut out the other stuff
you ate outside of that timespan, you end up lowering your caloric intake.

For some of my clients I use intermittent fasting as a tool to allow them to eat bigger meals and fill full making it feel like they are not dieting , this works brilliantly because in the mornings they are either to busy to eat or can’t eat food that early.

🍔What you need to know about weight loss 🥦

If you goal is to achieve weight loss you can easily be overwhelmed by not knowing how to start and guess what that’s perfectly ok!

Losing weight and getting the body shape you want isn’t going to happen over night Just like getting to a top of a mountain , your not going to take one step and be at the top⛰

Weight loss is a journey, a journey for some may take longer than other but you will get to the top and enjoy view 🤩

Best way to get to where you want is just to start , move one foot in front of the other ! 🚶‍♂️

Tips for achieving weight loss

- be consistent ✅
- track you calorie intake
- move more
- be patient take your time
- stick to one thing give it your all and make small changes if needed , don’t jump from one fad diet to another.
