After a great days karting at Silverstone, back to the day job. Homework has to be completed ready for next week. The reality of kids motorsport, race by day, homework by evening. Continue the trip to larkhall tomorrow.

Getting to share a track with an F1 icon was amazing Johnny Herbert was so nice to let me have a photo and offer some advice as it was both our first time at the track.

Sunday race day. A dry day at this time. Looking to capitalise on yesterday's win

Qualifying - DSQ Underweight. Nothing to say apart from bo*£ox. 🤦‍♂️
Heat 1 - 1st
Heat 2 - 8th. Overtaking a Mighte back marker, they managed to turn and make contact, bouncing us up in the air then planting us in the barrier. Had to drag the kart out and race was done.
Final - 1st. Tough race, leading on the last corner. Kart in second loaded us into the final corner pushing us wide to force their way past. Penalty applied giving us the win which we should of had.

Great weekend with plenty of fun and quality racing. Well done to Jesse Bailie on 2nd and Zack Service on his 3rd place. Good points to keep us in the championship hunt after missing the GYG round.

Day off tomorrow before a test day at silverstone. Ready for the British at Larkhall next weekend. Hopefully more podiums to follow.

Back at superone as we missed GYG due to clashing with the British Championships.

Typical English summers day, so chucking it down constantly.

Qualifying- Pole
Heat 1 - 1st
Heat 2 - DNF
Final - P1

Pace was excellent, unfortunately an engine blown up in heat 2 meant not being able to take maximum points from the day. Didnt let his head drop and went on to win the final on a rapidly drying track (it finally stopped raining) by 9 seconds.

Have to say the BRK kart is an absolute beast. It let's him showcase his talents.

Got to wear his new suit on the podium so very happy chappy.

Well done to Reggie Dufficy and Nicholas Wesolowski on their 2nds and 3rds.

Great drive from his good friend Pearson Brothers Karting for a brilliant 5th place too.

We go again tomorrow. 🤞for some dry weather but this is england so probably wets again.

Henry Colbourne wins the Honda Cadet Final at Fulbeck Kart Club’s Round 3 event last weekend!

Brilliant weekend with friends at Fulbeck Kart Club. With the glorious weather, ourselves, Aaron Berridge racing, Pearson Brothers Karting and SD racing #76 decided to have a weekend of fun racing, beer (for the adults) and BBQs.

So much fun without the pressure of Nationals and Championship points at stake.

Some great racing with a day of battling against Harry Grant. Swapping places and pushing each other round the track.

Great to get the 3 wins today especially the Final. Well done to Harry in 2nd and Nicholas Yorke in 3rd. Awesome to have Frank Pearson finally taking to the track in a Honda and putting in excellent performance and Ollie Spooner-Green getting a good 4th on his first visit to Fulbeck.

Brilliant for Sam Dixon to take a dominating win in the Inter class too. So happy to have matching 1st place trophies with each other.

Most the kids spent the weekend woth blue mouths due to the amount of Blue ice lollies consumed from the track Cafe.

The Kart Championship. Whilton Mill for the second weekend.

A podium we needed to give us a confidence boost. Pace was brilliant, a couple of frustrating mistakes had knocked him back to 10th, but he got himself back in a position where any mistakes at the front could be taken advantage of. It happened, contact between the leaders caused a big pile up in last corner. Being back in 7th actually helped as it gave him the opportunity to read the situation, decided to cut tight and got the run on everyone to sn**ch an unlikely 3rd place.

As we know with Hondas you never give up as anything can happen. But these are the moments when momentum can change. Its a platform to build on. We are only going to get quicker. 💪😉

Bit of time off now, nah let's find some racing.
