CALLING BSAC DIVE LEADERS:
Are you a qualified BSAC Dive Leader or Divemaster looking at becoming a Scuba Instructor with global recognition under the International Recreational Scuba Training Council banner (ie equivalent with agencies such as SSI, PADI, CMAS, SDI, CMAS etc? Some guys in BSAC call it 'Commercial'. Yes, you will be subject to HSE approved code of practice and you will require a HSE diving at work medical to teach, surely that's a good thing?
We'll be running our next RECREATIONAL INSTRUCTOR COURSE Friday 22nd to Sunday 31st May '26 inclusive.
We made the transition from another global agency to Dive RAID International back in 2018, we originally came into the agency to teach technical programs alongside Technical Diving International (TDI). Soon it was apparent that the agency had done an excellent job reverse engineering all their courses right down to Open Water and have, since their creation been a totally digital agency. No out of date course materials, all bang up to date, easily amended, links directly to You Tube for our open water students so they can see skills being conducted and most importantly not only interchangeable with other agencies and internationally recognised but also ISO accredited. No more storing of paper medical/liability paperwork for 7 years, the system allows you to easily track students' progress through sections they've viewed to quizzes and exams they've completed, so very easy for you to give quality feedback on their journey. At the end of the course, you access a series of sing-offs, if you've missed anything then you have an opportunity to get back in and rectify it.
Finally, the student logs in, has to agree with your skill sign-offs before certification. No more seeing students on certain courses claiming this skill, or that skill was missed. Quality training delivered with quality management tool as part of the system delivered by quality Instructors.
Yes, there may be rare occasions our open water students may have to go on their knees in the early stages of the course to complete a skill but our mission is to ensure they can conduct these skills with neutral buoyancy. Better for them & better for the environment!
