So glad that 3 Cliffs has lifeguards. Getting caught in a rip current can take many people by surprise. Here at Swim Gower we use the counter current machine to give our swimmers experience swimming with currents. It's great fun turning the pool into a lazy river and raises awareness how to swim off them.

RNLI lifeguards carried out a mass rescue at Three Cliffs Bay during busy half-term weekend saving multiple lives, after a rip current pulled beachgoers into difficulty on one of the season's most demanding days so far.

Happy Birthday to Swim Gower. We are 1 year old this week. And what an incredible year it's been. We started out small with a few swimmers and have grown and expanded to be able to take on more.
We have seen some great progress from all of our swimmers both children and adults. We would like to thank all those who have shared their swimming journey with us and are excited to continue the journey into the next year.

I'm super proud of the progress achieved by ALL of my swimmers recently. We've been able to award distance certificates from 5m to 25m. And everyone is making amazing progress in their own swimming journey. I love that each lesson is individual, which allows me creativity to adapt to the needs of each swimmer.
