We've done it!! I'm really proud to announce that we have pushed (wheelchair), swam, walked, triked and biked the complete 1400KM distance of the Welsh Coastpath during August... with over 150KM extra and a huge 5221M of elevation! Having battled storms Ellen and Francis then some crazy heatwaves too!! We have done this for 2 causes 1) Back Up... a fantastic charity that supports people with spinal injuries. 2) We are creating a fund to ensure that money isn't a barrier to participate our teams... we are the only Women's and Junior Wheelchair Basketball league teams in Mid, West and South Wales... we take people at all levels although the size of the area we cover means much higher travel costs, matches are frequently a significant distance too.
