A hard fought battle ends in defeat at Penyrheol Leisure Centre.
The visitors saw an early goal come from a well played counter attack, but Galaxy showed good character to gain momentum and eventually found the equaliser in the second half, lifted into the left-hand side of the net via a clever shot from Shamuel Hashan.
The opposition keeper remained sharp and was quick off his line the entire game, closing down, blocking and claiming through-balls that came into the box.
Prior to and after going 2-1 down from a lovely strike from the opposition striker, Galaxy were unfortunately forced into a couple of changes. From all of us at Swansea Galaxy, we would like to say a big thank you to those of Stargazy FC who responded quickly to an incident involving a Galaxy player, resulting in him being subbed off.
All round, a fun day of football! Well done and good luck to Stargazy FC for the rest of the season. And as for Swansea Galaxy, we’ll see you in training on Tuesday!
