Welsh championship update!

Quarter finals are ticked off and we’re though to the semi finals.

Charlies slick movement and punching accuracy took Charlie to a unanimous decision win.

We will now be boxing tomorrow in the semi-finals against a boy from mold ABC

19th April save the date.

This year there’s 8 other boys in Charlie’s category a smaller group than last year but we go in for the same achievement 🥇

Hard work and dedication all for this one tournament, the main tournament of the year.

We look forward to get started in the quarterfinals and hopefully getting on a good win streak and bringing back that Welsh vest!

You rarely get a hater who has boxed (it does happen but rarely - unless it’s hating on YouTuber boxing then there’s load 🤦🏼‍♂️) because they know what it takes to get in there. ⁣⁣⁣

I remember when I was boxing, I used to think “This is the hardest job in the world” ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
I’d think like that not because of the physical side, even though that was an absolute beast and so hard on the body. Especially when I used to get injured a lot. but the mental side of it was what got me, putting a ridiculous amount of pressure on myself, so scared of losing, getting hurt and not being the number 1 and this constantly going through my mind from the moment I woke up to the moment I went to sleep. ⁣⁣

Boxing and MMA is so hard, I respect anyone who gets in the ring, even if it’s just 1 fight. ⁣⁣⁣
