Welcome to Seishin Karate club, based in Llangennech, Llanelli. We are a family orientated club run for the benefit of the students.

Seishin Karate is a family orientated, professionally run club based in Llanelli which trains to a traditional Wado Karate Syllabus. The club was founded in 2008 by Sensei Alan Bowen (a second dan black belt) and his partner Siân Spencer (first dan black belt). We are a member of:
BIKO (British Institute of Karate Organisation)
WKGB (Welsh Kar

ate Governing Body)
EKF (European Karate Federation)
WKF (World Karate Federation)

Classes are currently run in Llangennech, Tumble and Swiss Valley. We are fully insured and all instructors are DBS checked (previously CRB), qualified to level 2 and each holds a first aid certificate. Seishin Karate is run for the benefit of the students with the aim of providing regular courses as well as fun days, organised trips and social nights out. Our club is more than just a club, it's our extended family!

Coronavirus!!!

Seishin Karate sessions will be continuing as normal but we ask that members and parents follow and practice the following precautions in the light of the ever increasing situation with COVID-19.

Please could all students ensure that they wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before sessions commence and after training. If you have anti bac hand gel then please apply it at regular intervals and if you need to cough or sneeze do so into the crook of your arm, not your hands or preferably use a tissue and bin it.

Could we also please wash our gum shields after use and wash hands or wipe mits after inserting and removing them.

If you do feel unwell with cold or flu symptoms please do not come to training, stay at home and seek appropriate medical advice.

We will be cleaning equipment such as pads etc after use and will do everything to ensure we as a club help delay this virus, protect our students and everyone in society.

We will continue to look at the latest advice, especially what advice is given to schools.

We hope we can count on your support during this time.

Parents please pass this info on to your children.
