Another week of the South Wales Doubles League completed, and there were some fantastic results across the club! 🎾

A special mention goes to our Men’s 1st Team, who pushed a very strong Cardiff 1st side all the way at home. Despite the 4-2 defeat, it was an outstanding effort from our young team and a performance they can be proud of.

Our Ladies 4th Team recorded a huge home victory, while the Ladies 1st Team travelled away and produced a dominant 6-0 win.

* Ladies 1st won 6-0 vs Mackintosh
* Ladies 3rds won vs David Lloyd Cardiff
* Ladies 4ths won 5-1 vs Penarth

Men

* Men’s 1st lost 4-2 vs Cardiff
* Men’s 2nd lost 4-2 vs Bridgend
* Men’s 3rds won 6-0
* Men’s 4ths lost 6-0 vs Cwmbran
* Men’s 5ths won 5-1 vs Cwmbran

Well done to everyone who represented the club this week. There were some outstanding performances and excellent team results across the board. We now look forward to the next round of matches and building on this week’s successes. 💪🎾

League Results Round-Up

Despite a wet and windy weekend, it was great to see all fixtures completed. Well done to everyone who represented the club.

🎾 Ladies 1st Team narrowly lost by two games against a strong Penarth Windsor side.
🎾 Ladies 3rd Team lost 2–4 to Penarth Windsor.
🎾 Ladies 4th Team lost 1–5 to Haverfordwest in very testing conditions.
🎾 Men’s 3rd Team produced an excellent performance on Thursday evening, winning 6–0 at home against Radyr.
🎾 Men’s 4th Team secured a strong 4–2 victory over Bridgend 5ths.

Congratulations to the Men’s 3rds and 4ths on their wins, and well done to all players for battling through some challenging weather conditions. Great effort from everyone involved! 👏🎾

We love tennis at Swansea Tennis & Squash Club. From juniors as young as 11 to players more than seven times that age, it’s fantastic to see all generations enjoying the game, competing, improving, and having fun together.

That’s what club tennis is all about. ❤️🎾

National Club League Weekend! 🎾

A mixed bag of results for our teams this weekend, but every team played some excellent tennis and represented the club brilliantly. 💪

This format continues to grow in popularity with our members, and it’s fantastic to see so many players embracing the opportunity to compete in singles matches and challenge themselves in a team environment.

A huge well done to everyone who took part and supported their teammates throughout the weekend.

Another busy week at the club with matches taking place daily.

A huge shout out to our Men’s 2nd and Ladies 4th teams, who both played back-to-back matches this week two matches in two days! There are definitely some sore bodies out there.
