🚨🌊 Drowning Prevention Week at WaterWays – What a Success! 🏊‍♂️💙

Our swimmers absolutely smashed it during Drowning Prevention Week – learning vital water safety skills while having so much fun!

🫧 Our younger swimmers practised:
✅ How to float safely on their back
✅ How to shout for help if in danger
✅ Fun water games to build confidence
✅ A water safety quiz to test their knowledge

🚤 Our older classes took it up a notch with:
✅ Lifesaving activities using rescue aids
✅ Lifeguard-style rescue tows
✅ Real-world safety tips for themselves and others

And of course… to celebrate all their hard work, every child went home with treats 🍬 and colouring activities 🎨.

We are so proud of all the skills they learned – these lessons could one day save a life. 💙

🌊💙 Drowning Prevention Week is HERE! 💙🌊

This week, we’re taking a little break from our regular swim lessons to focus on something even more important — WATER SAFETY 🛟

We’re turning up the fun AND the learning as we teach all our swimmers how to stay safe in and around the water! From rescue games 🏊‍♂️, floating challenges 🌟, to water safety role-play 🧠 — we’re making sure every child learns life-saving skills in the most engaging way possible.

💡 It’s not just about swimming — it’s about knowing what to do when things don’t go as planned.
