Another 3 points for the thirds last night playing “away” to the Maltsters Sports A.F.C 👏

Two excellent goals from our youth team striker Callum Collier, and one from the pen spot for the gaffa Ash Fulf to take the W 🙌

Thank you again for the amazing number of people they braved the cold to come support, it’s amazing to see grassroots football getting the attention is deserves again 💙

Brilliant way to end our day with a triple celebration for the club!

Our First team boys picking up all 3 points against a very tough Penlan AFC - Rio Davies hitting the net twice in the first 20, one of which the ref deemed a questionable foul on the build up, but not long after there was no doubt with the opener of the afternoon ⚽️🚀 Both teams could have taken the win, but Daryl Hughes bagged the winner (and his second) to take the game away from Penlan! - What a way to celebrate your birthday (Happy Birthday Daz) 🥳🔵⚽️⚽️

Our reserve team with a convincing win against another very good opponent in Rockspur Fords FC. New signing Matt Hunter ⚽️ opening the score, and Oli Simpson collecting his first hatrick of the season ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Let’s hope tomorrow youth cup venture to Aberdare Town FC can make it a great weekend all round 🙏🔵

3 massive games for our followers today!!!

Firsts home vs Penlan AFC in what is normally a very exciting game to attend! 🧨

And the reserves visit Rockspur Fords FC at Mynydd Newydd - another great game for the neutrals to watch 🙏

Then tomorrow, the youth boys hit the road to Aberdare for their Arena Projects cup tie against Aberdare Town FC - what a way to end the weekend 🚎

Finally, we would like to apologise to our friends at Plough Colts for letting them down with the unplanned cancellation of the thirds game! 🥲

Another fantastic pair of signings in the last week for the club🔥👏

After some pre-season deliberation, trialing more clubs than Tiger Woods 😅🏌🏻, we are delighted they both found their home here at the pride of the hill 💙

At the heart of midfield, both lads make excellent additions to an already very promising squad, and we are excited to see them settle in and make a difference 💪

The opening weekend for Reserve team football was a story of two half’s

The Seconds failed to take any points after making a late come-back to a very good Blaenymaes Afc - the better team on the day won but no doubt the lads took a lot from the opening fixture ready for the next up 🔵⚽️💪

The newly created Thirds bagged their first 3 points with a fairly convincing win against Talycopa AFC - an impressive result but anyone watching would say they could have scored a lot more! Never the less a great start to the campaign 🥳👏🔵
