Congratulations to everyone involved in getting Lwynderw skatepark approved! The ground has been broken, the build is on and the vast majority of voices within the communities involved have finally been realised! Roll on 2023 when Swansea will FINALLY have a proper concrete facility.

This afternoon at Exist Skatepark and running every Thursday until 13th October, FREE sessions return from 16:00 until 18:00! Sessions are open, so bring any form of shred you like and enjoy Swansea's premium indoor skate facility for absolutely nothing! See you at 16:00!

The deadline for the final sign off by Swansea Council was last week. The Chief Executive said they hoped it would actually be the week prior. Within that period, there were more questions raised by Swansea Council which were replied to last week. Guess what… more questions were raised today after the self imposed extension to the decision deadline had again passed. With continuing delays and decision extensions, it would take a miracle to get the build started this year. It makes you think if there is some other agenda at play.

Were you aware that Swansea Council have commited £1,000,000 to redevelop skatepark facilities across Swansea East and Swansea West? In order to ensure that this money is spent improving current facilities and/or building a facility in your area, we are trying to gather information from residents across Swansea to get an understanding of which facilities they would like to see added too/improved in their area.
