Darren joined Swansea Roar back in January 2023, when the club was just getting started. Three years later… he’s still here, still loving it, and still finding ways to wind his fiancée up on court 😂

From trying something new… to becoming part of the furniture. 🦁💙🩷

And that’s exactly what we love about Swansea Roar, great people, plenty of laughs, and a sport you’ll actually want to keep coming back to.

I attended my first ever korfball session and I had no idea on what it involved. When I saw the hoops, I thought no way am I going to be any good at this....but the team welcomed me in and made me feel at ease. We had a go at scoring and… I got some in!

Warm ups and drills were fun and we got into ways of scoring. Who knew that I could score 3 in a row from 3m. Looking forwards to next session already, well once my arms recover!
