⚽️👏 A brilliant day at the New Ash Green Tournament for two of our AFC Green Court teams on Sunday 👏⚽️

Our Under 8 Knights reached the quarter finals before narrowly going out against an opponent they know very well, whilst our Under 9 Roses made it all the way to the semi-finals before being beaten in very tight circumstances 💪

Both teams represented the club brilliantly throughout the day, played some great football and, most importantly, thoroughly enjoyed the experience ❤️

Well done to all of the players, coaches and supporters involved 👏

🏆⚽️ The 2025/26 season has officially been the most successful in AFC Green Court history ⚽️🏆

This season saw our:

🏆 U11 Knights win the Selkent Shield
🏆 U12 Knights win the Selkent League
🏆 U14 Knights win the Selkent Shield
🏆🏆 Vets XI complete a league and cup double

We also had cup final appearances for our U8 Knights, U9 Knights and First XI 👏

But success at AFC Green Court is about far more than trophies ❤️ This season also saw the creation of two new girls teams, fantastic progress across many of our squads, and continued growth throughout the club — all whilst remaining inclusive and ensuring players get opportunities to play and develop ⚽️💙

A massive thank you to every player, coach, volunteer and supporter who helped make this such a special season 👏

⚽️☀️ Just a few reminders ahead of tomorrow’s AFC Green Court Presentation Fun Day ☀️⚽️

Firstly, a polite reminder of the rules at Parkwood Hall Academy:

🚭 No smoking ANYWHERE on the premises (it is a school)
🐶 No dogs allowed on site
🚗 Please only park in designated parking areas (parking on the road or outside the entrance gates is strictly prohibited)
🗑️ Please use the bins provided and help us keep the site tidy, so club volunteers do not have to spend hours clearing litter at the end of the day

We’ve all seen the weather forecast 🌧️😅 but the event will still be going ahead and we’re hopeful things won’t be quite as bad as predicted 🤞

With that in mind, please do bring a rain jacket or umbrella if needed. People are also very welcome to bring their own gazebos to put up around the field if they would like. The club will provide some cover where possible, but unfortunately we can’t guarantee enough for everybody.

Most importantly, we hope everyone comes along and enjoys the day ❤️

We put this event on every season, free of charge, to celebrate every player, coach, volunteer and family connected to the club. So enjoy the presentations, the live music, the food, the happy vibes - and let’s make it another brilliant AFC Green Court day 👏

Our AFC Green Court Presentation Fun Day 2026 is almost here and we can’t wait to celebrate another fantastic season together 💙❤️

From trophies and team presentations to live music, BBQ, inflatables, football fun and plenty more, it promises to be a brilliant day for the whole club community ☀️👏

⛳️☀️ A brilliant day was had at the club’s 2nd Annual Golf Day last Saturday 👏

There was some great golf played, plenty of laughs throughout the day, money raised for the club, and a few well-earned beers enjoyed afterwards in the sunshine 🍻😎

You really can’t ask for much more than that!

A huge thank you to everyone involved in arranging it, who took part and supported the event, and congratulations to the winning team - Dave Eaveson and Jimmy Bignell 🏆⛳️

🌹⚽️ A fantastic weekend last weekend for our Under 11 Roses and Under 12 Roses at the Pro2Pro Academy Tournament 👏

Both teams had an amazing time, played some brilliant football and represented AFC Green Court superbly throughout the day ❤️

A special mention to our Under 11 Roses, who went all the way to the final before finishing as runners-up against a very strong side from East London 🏅💪

Massive well done to all of the players and coaches involved - great experiences like these will only help the girls continue to grow and develop 🌟

⚽️👏 A big well done to our Under 10 Dukes, who enjoyed a brilliant day at a tournament last Sunday - earning their first ever draw, quickly followed by their second ever draw 💪

This group has faced a very tough season at times, with player availability often making things difficult, but the boys have continued to stick together, work hard and keep going every single week ❤️

The progress, effort and determination shown by the team has made their coaches, supporters and everyone at AFC Green Court very proud 👏

Keep pushing boys, keep enjoying your football, and keep growing into next season ⚽️🌟

🌹⚽️ A fantastic day for our Under 9 Roses last Sunday at a Chelsea FC development tournament 👏

The girls were brilliant throughout the day, playing some great football, picking up some excellent wins, and ultimately finishing in an impressive 3rd place overall against some very strong teams 💪

Most importantly, the girls had a fantastic experience and these types of opportunities will do wonders for their confidence and development going forward 🌟

Massive well done to all of the players and coaches involved - you did the club proud as always ❤️⚽️
