🎾 FIRST MONDAY COMP (FMC) 🏆

Tonight we had another great First Monday Comp!

A big thank you to everyone who came along and got involved. 🙌

Tonight we introduced a handicap scoring system to help balance the matches and make every game that little bit more competitive and interesting — and it certainly did the job!

Everyone battled for every point and every game, with some really close contests throughout the evening. 💪🎾

🎾🏆 Swanage Primary Schools Tennis Championships 2026 🏆🎾

What a fantastic conclusion to this year’s Swanage Primary Schools Tennis Championships as our Year 6 pupils took to the courts for the final day of competition.

The standard of tennis throughout the week has been exceptional, and today was no different, with players producing some outstanding performances and helping their schools achieve record-breaking scores. The determination, sportsmanship and teamwork shown by every pupil have made this year’s championships one to remember.

A huge thank you to all of the teachers, volunteers, helpers and supporters from the participating schools and Swanage Tennis Club. These championships would not be possible without your incredible support. 🌟

🏆🎉 Congratulations to our 2026 Swanage Primary Schools Tennis Champions – St Mary’s School! 🎉🏆

An outstanding achievement across all five days of competition, finishing on an incredible 1001 points and becoming worthy champions of the 2026 Championships. 👏🥇

What another brilliant day of tennis at the Swanage Primary Schools Tennis Championships 2026!

Today, Year 5 pupils from across our local schools took to the courts and delivered an outstanding display of skill, determination and sportsmanship. The standard of tennis continued to impress, with players competing fiercely for every point while showing great respect for their opponents and teammates.

A huge thank you to all of our teachers, volunteers, helpers and supporters from the participating schools and Swanage Tennis Club. Your enthusiasm and dedication help create such a positive and memorable experience for all of the children involved. 🌟

Congratulations to every Year 5 player who represented their school today. Your effort, resilience and positive attitude throughout the competition were a credit to yourselves and your schools.

Another fantastic day of tennis at the Swanage Primary Schools Tennis Championships 2026!

Today we welcomed Year 4 pupils from local schools who brought plenty of energy, enthusiasm and determination to the courts. Throughout the day, players displayed excellent sportsmanship, resilience and teamwork, with some fantastic rallies and closely contested matches on show.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers, teachers, helpers and supporters from the local schools and Swanage Tennis Club. Your continued support helps make these championships such a special event. 🌟

Well done to every Year 4 player who took part. You represented your schools brilliantly, gave your best effort in every match and should all be incredibly proud of your achievements.

Another fantastic day of tennis at the Swanage Primary Schools Tennis Championships 2026!

Today we welcomed Year 3 pupils from local schools across the area, who brought incredible energy, enthusiasm, and determination to the courts. The standard of tennis was outstanding, with players showing excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, and resilience throughout the competition. Every point was fiercely contested, and it was fantastic to see so much improvement and confidence as the day progressed.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers, teachers, helpers, and supporters from the local schools and Swanage Tennis Club. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without your time and commitment. 🌟

Well done to every Year 3 player who took part. You represented your schools brilliantly, competed with great spirit, and should all be proud of your achievements.
