Results from today's junior pier cup competition held on the pier.

2 juniors fished

1st J.Avis 323cm
2nd A.Anderson 56cm

Species caught - Ballan Wrasse, Corkwing Wrasse, Tompot Blenny, Baillions Wrasse.

Next competition June 2nd Shore rover sign on at the clubhouse 1730-1745, fishing 1800-2200.

6 anglers including 2 juniors fished from Swanage Beach and the Boat park jetty.

Longest round fish a conger of 41cm T.Crabb

Species caught- Ballan Wrasse, Bass, Conger Eel, Corkwing Wrasse, Tompot Blenny.

Please note.. due to most people unavailable, tomorrow evenings shore rover competition has been postponed.. how are people fixed to fish it on Saturday 7th march maybe do it on the pier? Please let me know

Results from last night's shore rover competition. This was our first comp of 2026.

6 anglers fished from the Banjo and the Mowlem.

1st T.Crabb 84cm
2nd L.Hall 81cm
3rd A.Smith 64cm

Longest round fish - a conger eel of 48cm T.Crabb.

Species caught- Bass, Conger Eel, Pout.

Please note, this evenings shore rover competition has been postponed. It will now be fished next Tuesday 10th February. Sign on at the clubhouse 1730-1745 , fishing 1800-2200.

Please note. Due to the difficulties in getting bait with the current situation on the roads, this evenings 3 x postponed shore competition due to be fished on the pier has been cancelled. It will not be re- fished. Next competition Tuesday February 3rd shore rover 1800-2200,sign on at the clubhouse 1730-1745.

Is anyone planning on fishing the comp tomorrow wvwning on the pier. So far I've only generally heard from people who don't usually fish anyway. Please let me know so I have an idea of numbers and whether or not it's worth doing. Thanks

Tomorrow evenings postponed shore rover competition has been postponed again. It will now be fished next Tuesday 27th January on Swanage Pier. Sign on at the pier gate 1730-1745 fishing 1800-2200.
