21 days of doing things a little differently. 💪
After Chase the Sun, I realised I’d spent so much time training my body to ride 205 miles that I’d probably forgotten to properly look after it afterwards.
So I decided on a reset.
Not a diet.
Not calorie counting.
Not restriction.
Just good, nutritious food and actually fuelling my body properly.
I’m making a much bigger effort to get enough protein through food and drinks, taking my creatine every day, keeping up with my NAD supplement and magnesium at night.
I’ve also joined the gym and added 2 proper strength sessions alongside my kettlebell classes.
I’m still riding 2–3 times a week and I’ve even added some running.
But the biggest change isn’t the training.
It’s becoming more aware of the little habits that sneak in over time.
The random snacks.
The inconsistent meals.
The “I’ve trained so I can eat whatever I want” mentality.
I’m not trying to be perfect.
I’m just trying to make better choices more consistently.
And after 21 days?
I feel so much stronger.
I feel better.
And I feel like I’m properly fuelling the body that works so hard for me. ❤️
Maybe the reset wasn’t about doing less.
Maybe it was about giving my body more of what it actually needs.
