Whorlton Run

Fourth counter in the Dave Parry LETS RUN Summer Fell Race Series 2026.

Well done to the 95 starters and finishers, thank you to Shelli Gordon of LETS RUN and all the volunteers, the registration, finish line and parking hosts Whorlton Parish Council.

And hopefully you enjoyed refreshments in the Black Horse PH.

Here is a copy of the prize awards from the fell race.

A few confirmations and clarifications, MV65 cat prizes to first placed Barry Atkinson of York Knavesmire Harriers and runner up Colin Harrison of Loftus and Whitby AC.
Runner up in the MV40 category was Graham Gill of York Knavesmire Harriers and the MV50 runner up was Ashley Dodgson of Thirsk and Sowerby Harriers
Robbie Preston of course still runs for Pickering Running Club.
